I practice a Functional & Integrative approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected and we get to the core (or the "root") of what is causing imbalances within your body. Functional health treats the individual, not the condition and the root, not the symtom. It's about digging deep and really understand the full scope of why we aren't feeling, well... great. I specialize in hormone and brain health. These complex systems that, together, we break down and digest. Fatigue, trouble sleeping, irritability, aches, pains, hot flashes, anxiety, depression, struggle with brain fog, extra weight that just won't come off... Do you know you can feel better, just not sure what to do and where to turn? I've got you covered. You are different, not like anyone else, so your health is addressed on an individual basis. I take a complete and personalized approach to Nutrition and Health Counseling. As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health --------------------- Before I started working with Katie, I was really confused and overwhelmed by the barrage of nutritional information I encountered on a daily basis. I had a horrible relationship with food and felt hopeless to ever find a balance between constantly berating myself for eating what I thought might be "bad" for me and feeling sick because I wasn't eating enough. I was planning to quit smoking and I was terrified of gaining weight as a result. Working with Katie helped me develop a working knowledge of "healthy". I now feel comfortable making health and wellness decisions based on what I have learned from her. Katie, with her wealth of information, helped me understand the difference between good fat and bad fat. She provided me with the support I needed to completely revolutionize the way I eat.
